Welcome to this site about our Pedal Car Team. We have only been racing since July 2001 and so far have taken part in two races. Our first race was in Leicester as part of the Spokesfest Event. You can see our results on the BPCC web site here, and the race report here. You can see what the BBC thought to our racing at BBC Online . The Italian Karbyk Team that won the Leicester race left their car in the UK and said that we could use it. Our second race was at Curborough where we raced two teams, one of which came third in their class. You can see the results here and the race report here.

Our first pedal car is called 'flocky' and originally belonged to a scout team in Walsall. Our Guiders husband Neil bought the car from them and then together with John, whose daughter is a Guide, almost completely redesigned and rebuilt the car. Our pit crew Neil, John and Gary, whose daughter has just joined Guides, are busy designing and building two brand new cars. You can find out more about our new cars in the whats new section.

We practice in locations such as school playgrounds, car parks and Mallory Park. We are always on the look out for new places to practice in the local area. If you have a flat tarmac area that we could use on evenings or weekends, please contact us here.

We have put together a list of questions and answers in our FAQ section. We hope you will enjoy reading about pedal cars as much as we enjoy racing them. We have also put some pictures of us in our Picture Gallery. If you have any questions that we have not answered please get in touch.

If you are interested in where we live you can find out more about Barlestone here.
